Dean's Message

The Eskisehir Technical University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, was established by bringing together the Industrial Design and Fashion Design Departments from the School of Industrial Arts, the Architecture Department from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, and the Interior Architecture Department from the Faculty of Fine Arts. These departments merged with a new vision and mission, retaining their deep-rooted design education culture and expert staff. Our faculty successfully carries out its education, research, and community service activities with its expert academic and administrative staff.

The Faculty of Architecture and Design aims to educate creative and self-confident individuals who consider nature while designing innovative products and spaces, possess developed aesthetic sensitivities, can apply computer and information technologies to design processes, have professional responsibilities and universal values, can think analytically, and prioritize the environment, humanity, and society. I proudly state that our Faculty has a competent academic staff and technological infrastructure to achieve this goal, allowing students to enhance their technical knowledge and skills throughout their education. Workshops, exhibitions, fashion shows, seminars, conferences, research studies, and study trips within this scope are considered an integral part of the education and training process in our Faculty's departments.

Our Faculty of Architecture and Design sends off graduates who are competent in making original designs that shape the future of our country and the world, with qualified graduates recognized at both national and international levels every year. Industrial Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, and Fashion Design Departments' graduates graduate with qualifications that can compete with their global peers. Our general approach as a Faculty is to strive to create values, not just to be valued. Therefore, all of our graduates are important values for us individually, and each of our graduating students holds a very special place in our hearts. Our greatest motivation is that the students we help raise become beneficial individuals to the society, our country, and the world.
